iEARN Egypt is working on securing suitable funds to support a number of Egyptian youth and educators to participate in the iEARN Annual International Conference that will take place in Ifrane, Morocco.

The deadline for submitting the application form is Monday, June 29th at 12:00 NOON, Cairo Local Time.

» iEARN Egypt Projects’ 2009 Conference

At Zahran Experimental School, Alexandria, iEARN Egypt and E-era held the iEARN Egypt Projects’ 2009 conference and the Fifth YouthCaN Annual Conference. Twenty-five schools from Alexandria, Cairo, Giza, Monofia, Mansoura and Menyea will participate and present presentations (Global Warming, Clean Energy, Water Resources, Waste Management, and the Millennium Development Goals) in the conference. During the conference, we’ll have different activities related to the above topics that students’ will do by their hands with the help of iEARN Alumni and volunteers from our Partner Organizations. » iEARN Egypt Capacity Building Program 2008

iEARN Egypt Youth have launched a capacity building program to develop the skills and abilities of active iEARN Alumni and students who will be working with students at schools during the academic year on various projects such as YouthCaN, MDGs-Only With Your Voice, and many others. They were selected to participate in the program based on a specific set of criteria designed by the iEARN-Egypt Student Board, Trainers, and Academic Advisers of the program. The capacity building program is composed of four main stages: self-awareness, social awareness, change, and action. Each stage will be composed of a number of workshops, panel discussions, activities, and field trips reviewing youth-led initiatives and concludes with a team building camp. The alumni and students will be working with the students in 106 iEARN schools all over Egypt. Read More
