Conference Staff
The conference planning committee will consist of local, regional and international iEARN members, Executive Council members, iEARN Egypt Board of Directors, iEARN Egypt teachers’; parents’ and students committees, alumni, and local professionals and educators from different organizations. The planning committee will also include six sub committees including:-
- Logistics Committee
The Logistics Committee will be responsible for planning and implementing all logistics for the conference (i.e. venue, accommodation, food, transportation, health & emergencies, etc.).
- Program Committee
The Program Committee will be responsible for planning the academic program and selecting presentations; workshops and demonstrations from the wide variety that will be submitted from the participants.
- Youth Summit Committee
The Youth committee will be responsible for planning and implementing all summit activities related to the youth orientated activities. This committee will mainly consist of the iEARN Egypt student board and active alumni.
- Culture & Leisure Committee
The culture and leisure committee will be responsible for planning and implementing all optional tours, cultural and fun activities, and coordination for joint activities between the conference and the youth summit.
- Registration Committee
This committee will be responsible for all registrations types and variety of fee collection (e.g. electronically, check, and cash).
- Marketing Committee
This committee will be responsible for marketing the conference whether on the local or international level, development of 2007 conference web site, and fundraising and outreaching activities on a local, regional and international level.
