iEARN US-Egypt Young Scientist Program

It has been a privilege to be in Cairo, ... I have learned a lot of exciting new experiences to add on as one of the chapters in my life…" Lisa He

iEARN planned and organized a special tailored scientific program, the US-Egypt Young Scientist Program. The program supports the goals of the - Egypt Joint Science and Technology Board of the U.S. Department of State’s Office of Science and Technology Cooperation to strengthen the scientific and technological capabilities of youth in both countries.

The program identified and supported American and Egyptian high schools students in working together on the scientific "Two Rivers, One World" project. This project is based on gathering and recording data electronically first via internet, through iEARN’s interactive internet based forums, and then at a one-week "science camp" in. The project's focus is the analysis of the Nile and Hudson Rivers. More information and pictures.
