Under the iEARN Bridge Exchange program, a pre-departure orientation for 2 full day sessions was planned and implemented. The session included program information, academic and cultural aspects about the United States of America. In collaboration with the Consulate section at the US Embassy, visa interviews for main and alternate applicants were set and visas are issued. The medical check up was held at the Ain Shams Specialized Hospital at Ain Shams University in Cairo. The group, which consists of 4 students and one teacher represents Giza, Alexandria and Beni Suef, is ready to travel to the US on Feb. 28 – March 19, 2005.
